CATTOR Mobile is an iPad app used by the field service engineers that synchronizes planned orders with the CATTOR Desktop application and sends back work carried out. The customer signs on the tablet and receives a signed work report by PDF.

In the back office orders from customers are entered and scheduled for various field service engineers. When a field service engineer goes online with his iPad, he starts a synchronisation with the server, receives new activities to be carried out and sends information entered in CATTOR Mobile to the server.
On the start screen the field service engineer sees an overview of appointments where work has to be done. When choosing an entry he sees the information needed to carry out the work and a list of material associated to the order. Been on site he adds the work carried out, adds remarks for the customer, for the back office and related to the unit. He can take pictures related to the order or to the site as well. When done, the customer signs on the tablet. In the next synchronization the server generates a PDF with all the information of the order including the signature of customer and field service engineer. This PDF is sent automatically to the customer by email.
CATTOR Mobile can be used for emergency services as well. Upon receiving a call from a customer, the field service engineer checks if the customer has a valid service contract and sees all contract information on the iPad. Based on this information he can decide whether immediate action has to be taken. If so he creates an order right from the CATTOR Mobile app.
In addition CATTOR Mobile collects geo location data while its running if you allow this and sends it to the server as well (CATTOR Mobile does not collect geo location data while in background mode). This is needed in planning when a customer needs immediate support on site. The location on the field service engineers is shown on a map and the responsible person in the back office sees which field service engineer is nearby.
CATTOR can receive push messages if you allow this.

You can test drive the application by choosing the Demo Server and press Demo. This will generate some demo data on the backend and send them to the iPad.
